BRANDING | Brand Awareness is the knowledge system in the consumer’s mind.

Awareness refers to the strength of a brand’s presence in the consumer’s mind. Awareness is measured according to the different ways in which consumers remember a brand, ranging from recognition to recall to top of the mind.

Brand Awareness is the first and perquisite of the entire brand knowledge system in a customer’s mind. It is the first thing that came across into your customer’s mind. It reflects the customer’s ability to identify the brand under different set of conditions. It consists of both brand recognition and brand recall.

Brand recognition is the consumer’s ability to confirm prior exposure to the brand. Brand recall is the consumers ability to retrieve the brand when given the category of the product. Your first goal to create brand awareness is to educate consumer on their knowledge about what is your brand and its products and services.
